Serious charges likely has man considering his criminal defense
It can be disheartening for individuals to feel as if they are in a hopeless situation. However, many ordeals that seem hopeless are not necessarily so, and individuals may just need information on how to address a predicament to the best of their abilities. For instance, if a person is in trouble with law enforcement, rather than feeling out of hope, he or she may want to focus on criminal defense options.
One man in Tennessee may want to take such an approach after recently being taken into custody. According to reports, the man had active warrants for his arrest, and authorities were tipped off to his location. Officers arrived at the location and reportedly found the man inside a vehicle. The officers tried to take the man into custody, but he allegedly pulled a knife from the waistband of his pants.
Officers were able to subdue the man, and it did not appear that any officers were injured. They searched the man and allegedly found methamphetamine and a syringe on him. As a result, he is currently facing charges for aggravated assault, possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia and simple meth possession. At the time of the report, he was still in custody on an $18,000 bond.
It is understandable if this Tennessee man feels overwhelmed by his arrest. After all, convictions for the allegations he faces could come with steep penalties. Fortunately, he has the right and opportunity to create and present a criminal defense against the charges brought against him, and gaining information on his legal options may help him with that endeavor.
