Being placed under arrest is no one’s idea of a good time. When this happens, the person or people being taken into custody are often starting a long and difficult journey. They typically have multiple court appearances, long waits between appearances and may even have to stay in jail pending further court proceedings. It can be difficult for anyone facing drug charges.

Three people in Tennessee are likely facing personal hardships after recently being taken into custody. Apparently, authorities had been conducting an investigation and obtained a search warrant for a residence. Details regarding the investigation and the evidence upon which the warrant was based were not given in the report. Nonetheless, officers executed the warrant at the home of one of the individuals.

While searching, officers allegedly discovered pills, heroin and drug paraphernalia. One man, whose home was searched, and two women were taken into custody. All three individuals are currently facing charges of selling a Schedule I substance. At the time of the report, they were being held on bonds, but the bond amounts were not provided. They also had initial court appearances scheduled.
