Collision leads to drunk driving charge for man in Tennessee
Anybody can have a bad day. For some, their days may become worse than others if they find themselves facing criminal charges. This type of scenario could affect someone that police suspect of drunk driving as these charges could have detrimental outcomes, especially if the situation does not go in favor of the accused.
Of course, it is important to remember that anyone accused of a crime is presumed innocent until — and only if — proven guilty in a court of law. As a result, one man that was recently arrested in Tennessee may want to find out what defense options could best help him maintain that innocence. Reports stated that the man had been driving a vehicle when he lost control and struck a sedan that had been parked on the shoulder of the road.
There was no one inside the parked car at the time of the incident, and the driver of the moving vehicle was apparently the only one injured. The extent of those injuries were not detailed in the report, but he was taken to a medical center for treatment. It was unclear what caused police to suspect intoxication, but the man was charged with DUI.
The man involved in this Tennessee incident likely feels that his day got considerably worse after being arrested for drunk driving. Still, he can take the time to gain information on his predicament in hopes of making the best out of a bad situation. His efforts may allow him to find the best legal options and assistance for his case and allow him to feel more at ease.
