Multiple people facing drug charges after search, meeting
Many people think that their lives are over when they face criminal charges. Fortunately, that does not have to be the only view for this type of situation. People facing drug charges or other allegations often have a number of options they could utilize to help them work toward the best possible results for their cases.
Multiple people in Tennessee will undoubtedly want to put their best foot forward when it comes to addressing criminal allegations recently brought against them. According to reports, authorities had been investigating a man and acted on a warrant to search his residence. The search allegedly resulted in the authorities finding methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm. He was taken into custody on several charges, including possession of methamphetamine with intent to resale and other possession charges.
After the man’s arrest, police answered his phone after it rang and pretended to be him to set up a drug deal with the caller. The meeting resulted in the caller, a 21-year-old man, and two other individuals being taken into custody. All these of these people are facing charges for criminal attempt to possess methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Defending against drug charges may seem like an overwhelming task. However, each of these individuals has the opportunity to create and present a criminal defense in a Tennessee court of law.
